PMKVY stands for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana which is a part of the initiative "Skill India" which was taken by the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to help the youth of India, learn and excel in a number of skills. It was launched on 15th July 2015 and has been in effect since then. It actually provides youth with an opportunity to raise their standards of working and improve their abilities and efficiency. India is a country with the most youth population in the world and youth are indeed the future of the country. They need to be properly trained and skilled so as to become an asset for themselves as well as the nation. PMKVY aims to achieve the same. This scheme also gives the students and other people enrolled rewards to motivate them further. This scheme intends to increase the employment rate as well.
This has generated good opportunities for the otherwise unskilled people. This initiative has set the target as year 2022 and claims to provide trained individuals and people with better skill sets. A major proportion of the youth in India has been lacking resources to improve their skills and abilities and in absence of any mentor, they fail to exploit their potential to the fullest. This has been a crucial reason for why India is still lagging behind. This scheme is being implementedto the core in the areas where youth needs support and has been instrumental in providing various learning and employment opportunities to the drop outs and less educated people in Bihar, UP, and other states.
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has surveyed a number of times and has observed all the possible jobs that can be made available in coming time. They have also assessed the job requirements in current scenario and the skills imparted by Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana are according to these only. Presently, about four hundred and thirty job roles are being catered by the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana. The awareness about this program has been generated via xsS, television and other media as well. If any student is interested in enrolling, all they have to do is give a missed call on 1100%0 102 6000. The candidates will get a call back if selected and will be asked for their details. All the eligible candidates will also be provided with details of nearest training centers and will be provided with a starting date for their training. For proper identification purposes, it is mandatory for one to have a Voter Id, Pan Card or Aadhar Card.
How an agency can have PMKVY Franchise
If any agency wants to have a PMKVY franchise, they have to follow the guidelines and the procedures. All the center or private training partners whether they are corporate or government affiliated, all have to go through Central Accreditation and Affiliation process. Any exception would be processed only for some serious and different cases. Such cases will be entitled to some different approach as suggested by the committee.
There is a registration fee of about Rs. 12000 that has to be paid by all the training centers and an annual monitoring fee of Rs. 100%00 needs to be paid to monitor for all the activities of thetraining center. There is a fee of Rs. 10000 for every job role that will be paid separately for each job role by the center. Affiliation will then be granted to the training centers which go by and complete all the requirements, all according to the job roles.
A team for PMKVY will also get associated with all the training centers. They would then be able to deliver the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal VikasYojana in a proper and effective manner. Some government sponsored programs can also be provided by the training centers by keeping in mind all the rules imposed by the respective authority. Any PMKVY franchisee will be given less priority and by careful consideration of their performances, they will either by converted to a dedicated center or be removed. All first level franchises are able to work under the PMKVY scheme and there needs to be a proper connection and cooperation between the PMKVY franchisee and franchisor. Diligence from both the sides is of utmost importance. A legal agreement will govern the franchisee and franchisor. The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will not interfere in any kind of dispute or problem that could arise between both the parties. No other operations pertaining to any kind of business are allowed to be carried out by the franchisee with the usage of facilities and resources provided for efficient execution of PMKVY scheme. In such a situation, if rules aren't followed, this kind of activity will lead to termination.
Training center will be assessed at all times and have to maintain proper attendance. Any student who will not be having a bank account will be provided a Jan Dhan account with the help of the training center where they will be training. Digital and advanced training facilities with able instructors are greatly praised by SSC as well as NSDC. Training sessions will be closely monitored and they need to make sure that their curriculum is up to the mark and completely relevant to employability.
PMKVY Special Projects Franchise
The candidates and students who are being trained at the training center are also provided with some special projects to boost their learning process. This helps to encourage training in some special fields and areas, premises of Government, corporate or industrial bodies. Such projects improve their skills and let them learn in a more practical manner. It also motivates them to have special job training which is crucial for the placement drive. All these projects are aligned to common standards. These projects need to be given by following all the guidelines properly, although slight deviation is allowed to be had with the approval by concerned committee.

It has the objective of providing placements to all the deserving and eligible candidates. The country presently has so many job positions which cannot be filled due to lack of skillful people. This scheme aims to provide the industrial sectors with all what they need in terms of human capital. They are being given skillful individuals with proper knowledge of the job they are heading into through Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana scheme.
Eligibility for PMKVY Franchise Placement Payouts
PMKVY project has been basically divided into two parts 1. Short Term Training and 2. Recognition of Prior learning (RPL).
Short Term Training- This portion is basically about the training which is going to be in imparted under PMKVY(Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana)scheme. As per the target around 75laks fresh candidates are going to be benefited in this scheme. This scheme is basically for the 10th and 12th pass outs, college drop outs. Apart from providing training in from the NSQF(National Skill Qualification Framework) training Center must need to provide training in Soft Skill, Entrepreneurship, Financial and digital Literacy.
